Energy Efficiency Rebates

Businesses and consumers are often able to receive rebates on energy efficiency products, technologies, or practices. Several states offer programs.

Rebates from ENERGY STAR Partners may also be available.

To encourage customers to buy energy efficient products, ENERGY STAR partners occasionally sponsor rebates on qualified products.  LCRS can help you identify organizations in your state that sponsor energy efficiency programs .  These offerings can include financial and technical assistance to improve the energy efficiency of your business.

Program sponsor Partners include regulated utilities, publicly owned utilities, and energy delivery companies; national, regional, state, or local government entities; other organizations involved in coordinating or administering energy efficiency or environmental education programs that promote ENERGY STAR.

Are you having trouble getting energy efficiency projects approved and implemented?

If so, LCRS can assist you with performance contracts and tax-exempt lease-purchase agreements that may offer you a practical solution when no money is available in the current budget for further improvements. We can also provide clear financial reasoning and cost modeling, which demonstrate that energy efficiency projects really can pay for themselves within existing operating and capital budgets.  We can help you persuade the decision makers that implementing energy efficiency upgrades is a good business decision and should be done as soon as possible.

While the reasons for delaying projects may vary, most energy efficiency projects stall due to one or a combination of the following perceived barriers:

  • Lack of money.

  • Lack of time or personnel to design and plan the projects because of other, higher priorities.

  • Lack of internal expertise to implement the projects.

  • Lack of "political will" within the decision making process.
